“Y” hoses are used when the flexibility of a 4-stud torch is desired, but not used in a current hose configuration.
The “Y” hoses connect the 2 fuel hoses together and the 2 oxygen hoses together so that a single fuel and single oxygen hose can be run from the fuel and oxygen supply.
This connection can be modified further to incorporate “B” fittings to accommodate existing or future hose configurations.
"Y" hoses can be installed in place of a foot pedal and then will need to be removed when a foot pedal is installed.
